See the Light

I crossed the river
Fell into the sea
Where the non-believers go beyond belief

Seek It Sincerely

Man is not, by nature, deserving of all that he wants. When we think that we are automatically entitled to something, that is when we start walking all over others to get it. ~ Criss Jami

You seek something that others may not, others seek something that you may not. But regardless of what you seek in life, the most important part is the path you take to achieve/acquire it. Be the most sincere person you can be while you live your life and seek what you desire.

Expect the Unexpected

Along your journey in life you will be thrown a few "curveballs" that you were not expecting. The question you must ask yourself; "Will you seize the opportunity & "swing away" or let it pass by?" Embrace these "unexpected challenges/curveballs" and swing away. This is what makes life exciting. You can plan, plan, plan, but something unexpected will still happen, this is okay! You must be diligent, have faith and persevere!

You do not need to know precisely what is happening, or exactly where it is all going. What you need is to recognize the possibilities and challenges offered by the present moment, and to embrace them with courage, faith and hope. ~ Thomas Merton

See The Light

Many is a word that only leaves you guessing.
Guessing 'bout a thing you really ought to know...

Mellow is the man who knows what he's been missing
Many men can't see the open road.

See the light. Seek inspiration and the desire to inspire others with not only your thoughts, but your actions. With the light, You can do anything, explore everything, be anyone. Optimism and positivity can overcome any challenge in front of you. Seek it yourself and give it to others. Open your eyes, clear your mind, forget our of previous thoughts/troubles and change up the system and your way of living.

When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves. ~ Viktor E. Frankl

Some things may be gone forever, but never too late
Where the ever after is in the hands of fate

You got to steal the time from a life that's passing by

Capital M-E

Capital M-E

I’m saying, “So, look so closely, there might be something you like, Look so closely and forget who’s right”

M-E, M-e, m-e, me, me, me… is this the downfall of western civilization? Most likely not, but maybe we should think of changing directions of the road we are on, while we still can.

“A great man is always willing to be little” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

In today’s digital frontier, it is hard to go even one day without reading someone’s opinion on any subject. We all know we have a voice and the right to have an opinion, but should we be so swift in expressing our own or judging other’s opinions? What are you hoping to accomplish by provoking an argument? Are you hoping to change someone else’s opinion by arguing or repeatedly broadcasting yours? Don't! because it will never happen, Your own opinions are just like his or her own opinions, only one minor difference. So let them keep their opinions and you keep yours.

“There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self” ~ Ernest Hemingway

When you think your's is the only true path you forever chain yourself to judging others and narrow the vision of God. ~ Shannon L. Alder

Many people are too self-righteous in today’s world, there are times when I find myself passing judgment on others. Meanwhile, I am a sinner each and every day in one way or another. Therefore, who am I to judge someone else? No one has the justification to do this, except God. You need to examine your own individual life and actions and be less worried about what is happening with other people.

The road to righteousness and arrogance is a parallel road that can intersect each other several times throughout a person's life. It’s often hard to recognize one road from another. What makes them different is the road to righteousness is paved with the love of humanity. The road to arrogance is paved with the love of self.
~ Shannon L. Alder

So in today’s world, I say stand firm in your beliefs, but don’t voice it so blatantly and tactless.

The only person you should try to be better than, is the person you were yesterday.

Whoever I was back then… I can’t ever be again…..

We're All Fighting Growing Old...

We’re all fighting growing old…..

We’re all fighting growing old…..

In the hopes, of a few minutes more…

Growing Older
Let’s face it, we truly are all growing older, day by day, year by year. But does that mean we should slow down in life & let go of certain hopes and dreams?

Age is whatever you think it is. You are as old as you think you are.

You should always slow down and enjoy what you have and what is around you each day. But in life overall, you shouldn't slow down on your aspirations, hopes, dreams, goals, experiences, no matter how big or small. You need to hang on, continue to hope, pray, set bigger goals, dream grander dreams, day by day, year by year.

We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing. ~ George Bernard Shaw

Mind, Body, & Spirit
As you get older, you may start exercising more to keep up your body, either way you may possibly find your body still slowing down. But what about your mind & spirit? Maybe it’s harder to tell, but are they slowing down too? Similarly, as you try to get up with your body by physical exercise and activities to keep in in good physical shape, a person must remember to keep up in his/her mind and spirit also. Keep all three; Mind, Body, & Spirit in shape. All are essential part of good health, not just your body. Continue to dream, pray, discover, meditate,  imagine, educate, learn, & exercise all parts of your soul...

Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young. The greatest thing in life is to keep your mind young.~ Henry Ford

Yes, you may be getting older, but you are never too old to dream, discover, and set new goals. Nothing in this life is out of reach for you, as long as you have the focus and determination to go after it. Whether it be careers, relationships, dreams, etc… everything is within your reach, but you have to be willing to go after it, reach out for it, take a risk, possibly step out of your comfort zone, only then will you attain something you’ve never experienced.

You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream. ~ C.S. Lewis

Never Too Late
So remember, growing older doesn’t mean giving up on your dreams or aspirations in life. It is never too late to go someplace you never been, do something you’ve never done, reach out to someone that's on your mind, achieve a new goal, pursue a new dream, take a risk, have a new experience, inspire others, make a positive impact in the world, become a better person.

Fight the Good Fight…. Yes, we’re growing older, but the way I see it, no matter how old you are, there is a lot of Life left to experience…

You're Never Too Old to Feel Young

The Christmas Spirit

We waited all through the year
for the day to appear
when we could be together in harmony
- Bryan Adams

The True Spirit of Christmas
Christmas time is a magical time of the year, the holiday season, coming together with family & friends, the joy, peace, and love we all share.

What is the "Christmas Spirit"? It can be summed up in 3 simple words -- Joy, Peace, & Love. But you can also describe it one word: "Jesus"

Jesus = Joy, Peace, & Love = Spirit of Christmas

It's that time of year, it's the one night when we all act a little nicer, we smile a little easier, we share a little more. For a couple of hours we are the people we always hoped we would be.  It's really a miracle because it happens every Christmas Eve. Don't waste that miracle.

"But the fruit of the Spirit is  love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness" - Galatians 5:22

Spread the Love, Joy, Peace
You have to do something. You have to take a chance and get involved. There are people that don't have enough to eat and who are cold. You can go and greet these people. Take an old blanket out to them or make a sandwich and say, "Here. "I get it now." And if you give, then it can happen, the miracle can happen to you. Not just the poor and hungry, Everybody's gotta have this miracle! It can happen tonight and today for you all!

But why do a lot of people only come to embrace this feeling of giving and love only once a year?

If you believe in this pure thing, the miracle will happen and you'll want it again tomorrow! You won't say, "Christmas is once a year." Because, it's not! It can happen every day!

You've just got to want that feeling.  You'll want it every day! It can happen to you.  I believe in it now. I believe it's gonna happen to me, now. I'm ready for it! And it's great. It's a good feeling. It's better than I've felt in a long time. I'm ready.

You Can Be The Change You Wish To See In This World

I encourage you to celebrate and live with the Christmas spirit not just for the holiday season, but each and every day. We can change the world if we embrace the spirit.

I know it's not too late
the world would be a better place
if we can keep the spirit more than one day in the year
send a message loud and clear
- Bryan Adams

Merry Christmas Everyone,
Spread the Spirit each and every day!
