Some Origins Of Fire

"And every day starts and ends in sunlight"

You may have noticed in past Gatsby Life posts, I've mention numerous times about "simplifying" your life, your thoughts, your time, etc. Simplify Simplify Simplify, easier said than done, right?

But it's the ability in each of us to experience that "drive and persistence" everyday and to simplify and achieve/improve "Goals" that is the real importance in life. As an everyday task, we must continually work at what we want in and out of  our lives. We all have multiple goals or things we need to work at, to improve, or achieve. These "GOALS" can be dreams, feelings, jobs, hobbies, passions, relationships, family, etc.. all of these take time and devotion to each to not only grow and shape, but learn and achieve what we want out of life.

What is YOUR "Origin Of Fire"

“Your living is determined not so much by what life brings to you as by the attitude you bring to life; not so much by what happens to you as by the way your mind looks at what happens.” ~ Kahlil Gibran

We won't always know what is best for us at times, but with a little faith and some courage, you can set out to reach any "Goal" you want. Now these "Goals" can be anything whether it be about your job, dreams, or family, friends, relationships, or other. The door is wide open to start and try, but once you reach the metaphorical door of your "Goal",  you must realize it isn't the end of the hard work, you must be diligent, open-minded, and persistently trying improve, evolve and create something better of your "Goal" around you.

“A person starts to live when he can live outside himself.” ~ Albert Einstein

We all need something to strive ("LIVE FOR") in life, usually it is what you think is the most important thing or person, or object, feeling, or dream, etc.. in your life. Whatever it may possibly be, these "Goals", or more specifically this thing or person, feeling, object, dream, etc, is really what drives each of us everyday to get up and get moving and get working on a better tomorrow on this "important aspect" of our lives.

“We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” ~ Winston Churchill

So I ask you.. use this 3 step method to narrow down your list and see what are some of the things your living for! Whoa! Very Deep, I know, but I think you need to know what you are living for in order to live your life to the fullest and get the most enjoyment out of your life. Now it isn't about scientifically possible explanations, example. name 5 things you cannot live without - Oxygen, food... etc.. ( well duh, but I mean what are 5 important things or people, etc.. that "drives" you.)

I'll give you example for the first question.

Name 5 Things You Cannot Live Without
some examples; Faith, Mom, Dad, Sister, Brother, Son, Daughter, Family, Friends, Relationship, Specific Person, Music, Guitar, Books, Etc.. Other Objects, Love, Dreams, Job, Education, It can be anything really - example even your Hair, Diet Coke, Materialist objects, etc..
(We are all different, with different beliefs/importance's in each of our lives)

Now Take Away 2 of Those, To Narrow 5 Down To Top 3 Things In Your Life You Cannot Live Without
Name Your Top 3

NOW What Is The One Thing You Cannot Live Without?

My one thing I cannot live without -  LOVE
Expressing Love for another person, love for my family & friends, love & grateful for everything in my life, and everyone/everything I interact with. And Love how every day starts and ends in sunlight.  Love & kindness give the heart & soul steady rhythm. Love inspires, love overwhelms, makes you feel whole, makes you feel alive...
Of everything out there in the world today, the One Thing I most definitely believe in is LOVE...

It takes over everything you are.
It makes you do things you never thought you could do before.
But that's what makes it so amazing, is you can't control it.
It can change everything in a second.
It's so amazing, it's LOVE ~ AvA
