I'm No Superman...

I can’t do this all on my own… I’m no Superman...

Watching, Wishing, Waiting...
Each day rises and sets… in its own beautiful way, seize the beauty (The Passing of Time). With each day rising and setting in its own unique way, we should reflect and Thank God. But sometimes we feel confused, anxious, overwhelmed, etc, the list goes on…

When this happens, this is the time we need to stop what we are doing and take five to ten minutes and talk with God. That’s all, just five to ten minutes! (The length of three music videos or funny cat videos on YouTube). You don’t have to fold your hands, kneel before, or go stand in the corner. All you need to do is just talk with him. It can be a soft whisper or a silently in your head, but as long as you take the time to acknowledge, accept, open up, and be willing to give yourself to Him then He is listening and waiting to hear your praise, confessions, wishes, your praise, and take on your troubles/anxiety with you.

“Do not be anxious about anything but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God” Philippians 4:6

I’m No Superman….
Okay, so this posting really hit home today. I was planning on the next post to be about “Heaven on Earth” Which is already formed in my head, I continually find inspiration in everywhere I look and the most unusual places, faces, and unusual times. So with that, this post needed to get out ASAP.

“Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you” 1 Peter 5:7

Starting my first semester of my PhD, starting new research, classes, etc, etc… I can easily say that I feel overwhelmed most of the days each week. To the common bystander, I may not give off that overwhelmed/stressed atmosphere that is overloading me. But it is there, loitering in my mind and presence. So today, while talking with a special someone, I was reminded of the best-all time solution, which was to persevere. Not only persevere, but persevere with God at my side.

Persevere: verb \ˌpər-sə-ˈvir\: to continue doing something or trying to do something even though it is difficult.

Persevere, that’s a strong word. When I think of it, I think of GOD. God wants us to succeed. However, to succeed, we need to persevere through the good times and bad times. We can only do that by continuing to have Him with us, not only during the bad times = when we need God most, but also during the good times in our life. Through the good and bad times, we need keep Him close, always. (The Peaks & Valleys).

So, if you have read my last two posts – The Peaks & Valleys and The Passing of Time, you may start to see a pattern, which this is something constantly I am going through and will continue to go through. So I encourage you to remind yourself; “Today, isn’t the end of the ride… your Journey is only beginning.” Each day, you will see you can’t do this all on my own, you’re no Superman/Superwoman. Therefore, I encourage you to seek God’s help along the way to relieve your anxiety, stress, fears, overwhelming thoughts and daily struggles. Please continue to constantly seek Him to help you overcome obstacles and remind yourself you are only human. I hope you realize this and turn to God, not only during the bad, but also the good times too.

“Your love, Lord, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies” Psalm 36:5

I know can’t do this all on my own, I’m no Superman.

The originally planned post titled: "Heaven on Earth" post will be postponed until next posting.

The Passing of Time

Each day rises and sets… in its own beautiful way

I can see the time drippin' down the clock
We've been trying to hear that ancient refrain
He's the One that knows just when our heads are down
And reminds us of the place from where we came....

Time was, as ever, against me. ~ Matthew Mather.
Time” – ‘Einstein famously said that it was purely an illusion, just a construct of the conscious mind. A nice idea, but try having this conversation with someone who sensed theirs ending. Time was something we all desperately wanted more of when it ran short, yet wasted it frivolously when we thought we had enough.’ ~Matthew Mather

Today is another day, all you need is to focus and live in the moment. Don’t let another one waste away frivolously.
Seize the Day
We fight and struggle against time each and every day. Yet, do we understand why or what for? Each day rises and sets, but what makes it memorable or gives it meaning/purpose? The answer to that question is up to you, are you up for the challenge? The answer lies within you… IT can be answered on how you live each and every day to come, possibly by spreading joy, love, and happiness to everyone you encounter. You need to utilize all the time each day here on earth that God has given to you in the best way you can. I can’t tell you exactly how you to do that, because God has a different path for each of us. However, while you are on your path be sure to open up to love, happiness, and joy and then let it overcome you to spread it like it like fire to all those around you.

Passion & Intensity
Life becomes meaningful for a person when he/she can find the passion and intensity and bring them together each and every day. It can be a passion for anything, but it must be at least for something. Once you find it, provide everlasting intensity and follow it no matter where it goes. So don’t let another day go by wasted for nothing, it’ll be another day you’ll never get back.

This is the day which the Lord has made;
Let us rejoice and be glad in it.-- Psalm 118:24

At the End of Each Day…
Reflect on it and talk with God. He is always
waiting to listen. I want you to think of how and what went right and even what went wrong each day. What you would do the same and what would you do differently? A person who continues to try to improve his/her life and faith each and every day, speaks volumes. As long as you provide the intensity embracing your passion, and positively impact those around you each day, then you’ll be making this world a better place.  No matter how big or small of a difference, it all matters.

From the Blue Ridge to the Black Hills
To the Redwood sky
The season may pass….
But the dream doesn't die.

Each day rises and sets… in its own beautiful way, seize the beauty.
